Default Today's Water Hunt

Almost 4 hours of Diablo and Dual Field hunting in deep, loose sand left by our recent blow resulted in too many snap/pop tops, bottle caps, aluminum nuggets and slaw to bother counting and I'd need a larger lens to take a picture of the pile, so here are the good finds of the days water hunt.

A small .925 earing and cross, a pencil eraser and a .32 Auto cartridge.

Craig, it looks like it was a silver day!!

CJ

I like the cross as it is. Seems like when you clean those encrusted pieces the silver below is eaten away quite a bit. HH!

Four hours of hunting without one coin!

That was a surprise, but lots of aluminum bits and pieces isn't when you consider how light they are and how they can move around with the sand.

The earing was a pleasant surprise that turned up half way through the first hour and gave me hope for the rest of the hunt.

Amethyst on the front, 925 on the back.

The cross was a very weak signal as it was under fairly deep sand and down in the big stones.

I'm thinkin maybe today I'll try my dry-suit and a little deeper water to see just how bad the sand is "out there".

CJ

It's nice to know that you guys have hunts that are bad enough that you don't post. At least there was some silver in your bad hunt!
