I Packed the Cibola in a backpack and rode the mountain bike back into the woods along a river today. It was tough hunting as the new growth made it hard to swing in most places. I hunted a spot with some old rusty can lids and old shotgun casings.
I found this 1945 Walker half, 1943 war nickel, and 1911, 1934, 1940, 1945, and 1948 Wheaties. Good hunting to all. __________________ |

Man, Merf, you're on fire!
That's a beautiful walker! The wartiime nickel too is great. And good show on the wheats. That 1911 is in good shape. The soil at that site seems kind to the copper. I didn't do bad today myself. I found another large cent and an IH. I'll post them later. Congrats on a great bunch of finds!
