Default Silver ring and Wheats - Fisher F2

Well, I go to this park along the river and it has a rocky beach area. However, this is not a place where people would place a blanket down. As I walk along with my faithful Fisher F2, I sweep back and forth along the rocks and I get a wheat penny. I say "Good, maybe silver around here". Well, believe it or not I found silver but it wasn't in the coin variety. I was sweeping near the edge of the water and I get a double beep at a 73-76. I am like "What the heck is that?" I look down and on top of the rocks is a ring, that's black and it fits my pinky, I look inside the band and I see 925 - "Heck, I didn't even have to dig for this sucker." It's a silver ring but it's not really a silver shiny color.

This ring blended in with the rocks and who knows how long it was sitting on top of the rocks.

I know Digger will like this, by the way, it seems that I find most of my stuff within the first hour and then forget it. I guess its silver?

If that ring is silver, it should shine up good.
Find that stuff first, middle or last in a hunt.
Just keep finding it.

After weighing it and seeing what it costs, $2.47 cents melted. Yeah, its silver but blackish in color, any suggestions to make it shiny or leave as is?

You can use the silver dip...or buff it up.....depends what yo want to do with it....If melting..just clean up a bit and save for your send to your melting co.....hopefully ARA....but if not....clean it up and use it or display it.
