I have a new Fisher F2 on the way! Should be here tomorrow.

Good to hear Qball. It may be the dry soil and higher minerals in my side yard, but, my antique Whites cant pick up a penny below 3". Matchbox cars on the other hand... no problem even at 4" to 5"!!!

I cant wait to go over my entire yard again with the F2.

Welcome from Freeport, IL and HH. You'll find out in a couple months that you want a better detector, but sounds like your doing fine with that one. I wonder what's deeper.
