San Francisco - Monday 7/25 Thurs 7/28 - Hunt?

I've wandered up to San Francisco for a week. Business as usual but plenty of time to hunt if any of you locals want to meet the out of towner and share a decent hunting spot.

I'm going to Golden Gate Park and hit the Golden Gate Bridge area as well.

Swinging a nice AT Pro, compliments of GSTOUT while I get my next detector purchased.

I know how to use it.. just point me to a spot with potential. Will drive, hike, no problem.

Oh well .. no love from the SF Members..

Went hunting at Delores park yesterday and found a clad quarter on the first swing, then about 5000 bottle caps. Could not swing the ATPRO without it screaming from one end of the scale to the other. Trashist park I've ever tried to hunt.

Too many people there too.. lots of young hippies on the lawn, many smoking a skunky smelling herbal substance.

I had to walk right through that fog. Darn near incapacitated me!

I saw Elvis a little later. He sat between me and Bigfoot on the UFO.

Sorry I couldn't get up there, but I am about 60 miles south in Santa Cruz. Hope you enjoyed our NorCal weather!

I'm new to the forum and the hobby. I don't yet have my own detector but that might change this weekend.

I live in S.F. right near GG Park and the beach. I'm available sometime in the afternoon tomorrow (Fri) if you want to check it out. If you don't mind having someone tag along that is.
