I went back to the spot I hunted Tuesday after doing a little work on my scoop. I added some 1/4 mesh to cover the holes and thus help catch the pesky little brass shells that are everywhere in this spot. I got 88 of them today. I hunted for 3 hours and was just about to go home skunked when I picked up this sweet 1912 dime. That just made my day.
I also dug up that big copper or brass thing that looked like part of a trumpet at first but I have no Idea what it is. Also found what looks like part of a bracelet. After finding this Barber dime I have visions of more to come from this spot, I hope.
