V3i Battery charger died...NOT happy

I have only about 20 hours on this detector, and have only charged my battery about 5 or 6 times. I went to put it in the charger and the light will not come on and will not charge the battery. I tried a few different plugs and still nothing. havent dropped it just have had it sitting in the same spot in my bedroom, and I unplug it every time its done charging. I have talked to whites, and they said send it in and they will replace it!(which I am happy about)

Have you talked to your dealer or Whites about it?? Why whine in a public fourm unless your main avenues of recourse are exhausted?
