Default New Camera new detector all's well

Recieved the digital camera this morning that geodawn (George) was kind enough to send me to try. And tonight was the first time using my new to me White's Liberty Di, I had 10 minutes before it got dark. My very first hit was a ring with a pink stone in it, I can't post a picture of it because my son is sleeping in where the ring is and I don't want to wake him up. The next three hits were a penny/dime and a nickle. All three coins was at least 6 -7 inches deep, maybe alittle deeper. The dime was a 1951. I took a picture of it with my new to me camera (thanks George), I have alot to learn about using it as it has lots of features. My wifes dabbles on eBay buying/selling jewelry and just loves this camera (Fuji Finepix F20) and will come in handy for her. Steve.

I use the Macro feature on my camera to take closeups all the time, it really works good.

Okay, where do I find a Di?
As for a camera, I'm getting the hots for that new PowerShot D10 Digital (underwater) Camera.
Nice rings!

Can you take a picture of your di? I was just wondering what it looked like. Is this new to you or just the camera?

I just bought the camera from a fella on this forum and I bought the Liberty Di from a fella off another forum that I have done a few transactions with. Let me go snap a picture of it for you. I will be back. Steve.

P.S. It is going to be for sale soon I believe .

Not that new, and the new Panasonic TS2 or TS3 is a much better underwater unit. Still, if you go with the D10 you won't be disappointed

Nice huntin' Steve

I can't say at this time as the deal is not set in stone (still up for sale on one of the forums and on eBay), I have to sell my White's first for the $$$ for it before someone else grabs it. Steve.

Liberty Di has been sold, I have a Big Bud Pro 220 Select on its way to me. If you want to check it out it is eBay item number 270735110637

Thanks Steve I'll look into the Panasonics.

The thing I hate about the internet is old postings. If you do a search on "the latest digital camera" you'll get 100 listing of the "latest digital camera" of 2006.
