Well yesterday was one for the books! It was beautiful out so I headed to the farmhouse. No shortage of signals and I dug everyone. Found a coinlike object 8 inches down but cannot identify it, not as big as a quarter but bigger than nickels but so corroded. Found a spike or something, tons of 9 mm bullets with extensions on them and some pink stuff in them. Thought they were maybe practice bullets for the state police as there is yellow police tape on this property, maybe an exercise? FOund an arrowhead (modern) and a dime. There are a ton of mason jar lids on this property, they must have done a lot of canning. I am sure that there was an older home too as when looking at the property, in front there is an indentation between two old trees and a slab of stone in the ground where a back door stoop would've been. This would probably mean the the property is over 200 years old.
Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting to all

Great Finds!
I've never seen bullets like that before. ![]() Your threaded/knurled peice there would seem to be a handle of sorts. Wouldn't figure it for a screwdriver but my best guess (and maybe a bit on the Captain Obvious side) would be a handle to ....uh, something. Very interest Haul. WTG -How're the horses doin' since their outing? __________________ |

SpittFire those bullets are training bullets the police use they are filled with a wax like paint that sticks when you are shot with it.
Your broadhead arrow for hunting the wings open up on contact with a animals hide for better penetration. I used to do a lot of bowhunting. __________________ |

Yep 63 degrees Saturday and 40 with winds howling today
The ground did thaw alot in the past few days but today was too cool for me. Thanks for id'ing the tube, knew I had seen it somewhere before. I thought the bullets were training bullets because of the colored stuff, just hadn't thought that they would be 9mm. Epi got your answer now on the tube, ya gotta love these people My sympathies to those of you who are still ice bound, the better days are coming soon Oh and Rusty.......yes you can and............TAG YOU'RE IT!
