I think I would croak over if I found anything half as historical as Simon finds - be it silver, gold or copper! And he could probably find a pre-historic pull tab worth more than all the stuff I have found!

Not to worry Felix,,i know you were joking about,your right tho,,who wants copper or bronze when theres gold out there somewhere.i just gotta find it and so far its eluding me.About the prehistoric pulltab im not so sure.

Simon, given the amount of old world coins you have found, I would love to see a pic of your collection you have amassed so far. I'll just bet it is VERY impressive to say the least.

Not really serious about it, but we can get a bit blase about digging them one after another when we are really hoping for a silver Roman or better still a gold Celtic.

Hey Simon, GREAT find. Are you really that close to Stonehenge? Put some pictures of it. I use Stonehenge as my computer wallpaper. Something about the area just fascinates me. Keep up the great finds.

Me too, I took some pictures last year, when we stopped there on our way back from Devon. One is now on my desktop

Found these at a lawn sale about 6 years ago. Never did the research on them, so I don't know what era they're from or who the Em. was at the time, but they somewhat resemble the one you dug.
