Howdy and welcome. You are in a fantastic area for history detecting. Definitely dig all signals for a while until you gain some confidence with the machine, and it's really not a bad idea permanently, especially if you are in an old spot with relics.

If it has manual ground balance it is the Landstar take-off. I have used a Landstar for 12 years and love it. Compare it to any other detector you plan to purchase...you may be surprised.
