Default Canton Trade Days

Anyone in Texas ever hunted after the Canton trade days. Im going there next weekend (not to md) but thought after this weekend it would be a cool place to md. Havent looked into it much yet just wanted to check here to see if anyone has hunted there before or has had the idea to hunt there. Here is the link if you are curious as to what im talking about its a pretty neat thing to go to. http://www.cantontradedays.com/

I've never hunted it but with so much activity going on there it should be a coin hunters dream.

I never thought about hunting that area, I haven't been to Canton since the middle 80's. Amazing what one can find to buy there !!!

Got back from Canton earlier and have to say looks like a pretty good spot. A lot of it is paved over and not huntable but the area that is marked unreserved on their map is almost all grass so it would be prime coin hunting. Unfortunately the drive is around 3 hours for me which is a little long for a short day hunt although i may try it out when i have some time off from classes. I would suggest anyone close to the trade grounds to give it a try. Palestine is only about 50 miles away so should be fairly close to a few of you. If you do go let me know what you find and maybe ill get some time and be able to go up there again myself. Best of luck to you all and HH
