Thumbs up Garrett pro-pointer

I just got my pro-pointer and went out to a field to give it a try... WOW does this thing work!! It will never leave my side. Thanks to everyone who has given advise on purchasing a Garrett. I recommend it for everyone.

Thumbs up

I also love mine. I never leave home without it. Wonderful pc of equipment & speeds up recovery time, especially those coins encrusted with dirt.

I never used one, until about two weeks ago. I wonder how many coins I left in holes because I just couldn't find them without using heavy digging equipment. It has to be the second most valuable piece of equipment, next to my detector!

I love my garret pro-pointer. It helps make a lot less smaller hole, and when a coin is less the 2.5" deep, I can pin point it spot on and make it a lot easier to find.

A bad Garrett pro pointer??? I went to a detector store yesterday to check out the Garrett. I am confused. We tested a Bullseye 2 and the garrett. They both air tested the same on my wedding ring and on a few other items as well. The employee acted embarrased. Are there any adjustments to be made?? Or turn it on and go??

Once you start using a pinpointer you'll wonder how you ever hunted without one.

MRGARLIC. You just push the button and go. I practice de-tunning it by turning it on about an inch of my shovel so it wouldn't buzz until it gets next to the item which really helps after the intial sweep inside the hole. That one must have been bad.

Default Fantastic tool!

Got mine a week or so back... Wow is right. Started this hobby with the Harbor Freight... and it did its job ok... I thought it was great (did break twice... but fixed it both times...for the price though, still a good deal) until I got the Pro Pointer - like the initial author - Wow! Its that good. Th HF one I always had to practically be touching the item... this is a diff of nite and day... and again, has sped up my retrieval big time.

When you are finished hunting, just put your thumb over the speaker holes and wash away, but don't submerge it. Best pointer on the market!
