Default Any idea what it is?

can anybody tell me want the button is that i found? it's about the size of a dime, with rolled edges, it's tin or alumanum, and it has a small triangle shape in the middle of it. ''PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE IT OUT'' thanks

From your description & the pic, I'd have to guess its prob a button cover, Not sure about the design on top..a pic of the other side might help.

looks like a freeze out/expansion plug. I think bullet looking part is a pry area for removal.

looks like it could be half of a bullet mold. a very very old one.

Looks like the arrow thingie in the middle is smashed down. So there's an opening there. It reminds me of a cap off an old bottle of brake fluid or something. Where you have to twist it to a certain point, to remove the cap. (Since there is notches on both sides.)
