Hey everyone,
Here are some finds from a couple hunts last week. One was a solo all day hunt and another was a half day hunt with my buddy Dan. For the all day hunt I got back on some silver with a Washington and a Rosie. I also found two indians (1898 and 1904), 17 wheats including a 1915s and 1913s, and a cool WW2 ring that's dated 1946 from the US 14th Light Infantry Regiment nicknamed "Golden Dragons." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/14th_Infantry_Regiment_(United_States)

The next hunt was at an old park and found a really nice 1929 class ring from the Normandy Vikings in St. Louis. The ring weights 7.1 grams and I located the guy who lost it and he died in 1984.

Hope you all had a good weekend.
Jason

Great story and photos as usual.

Question: I know you're probably passing foil and tabs in the park-turf hunting, right ? So did the gold ring read up higher therefore ?

Amazing finds! We are in our second week of flooding. Haven't been out, but living through y'all!

Wow! A little bit of everything there, Those rings are beauties just dripping with history, I wish they could tell their stories! Congrats on the nice saves!

Thanks Tom. In this particular park there used to be old houses in the section we were hunting. We have found a bunch of relic type stuff/tokens etc that come in at weird numbers. The park is a late 50's or early 60's park with older stuff because of the turn of the century houses that used to be there, so it doesn't have all the typical trash and iron of an old park. So with that I had a solid 12-20 mid tone at about 5 inches and said what the heck and got rewarded. I called Dan over to celebrate.

WOW !!! What a cool old collection of finds.......Two rings that don't come around every 5 years for most folks.....If they could only tell their stories to us.......
This is just incredible that you're still digging all this stuff and IHPs, and such a plethora of targets....
I'm lucky if I can even extract wheat or a pulltab out of our parks anymore they're so crushed.......
And I'm sure you've been asked a hundred times, but whats with all the marbles you post every day??
Anyways......congrats again on the great hunts.......

Ahh...back on the silver....all is right again in the metal detecting universe. (Nice rings!)

That WW2 ring............wow
You probably aren’t thinking of melting it, but on the outside chance you are, Put it up on the site first.
There are some guys who melt everything. That’s their choice . I for one would love to have it just because
