First photograph early 1961 jungle warfare training on the border of Malaysia and Siam (Thailand) a very young me far right. (aged 19)

Second photograph 45 years later in London with some of my buddies from that era, me 2nd left.

....and yes I am that old!

Thanks for posting Doug. I think we forget too many times the sacrifices the Brits, Aussies and Canadians have made along side us through major conflicts around the globe. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your service.

Thank you for your kind words.

The communist insurgents at the time were still fighting to get the British out of Malaysia but by the early 1960's they had been pushed back up to the border of Malaya/Siam.
