Question XLT Coils/Field Setup

I have a Spectrum XLT and have had moderate success with it. I have learned it pretty well. I mainly hunt for coins around old homesites and in fields. I was looking to upgrade to a new larger coil to help cover more ground in the fields but not lose sensitivity on coin sized targets. I would also like some information on tweaking the settings for maximum depth with the stock 9.5" coil. I want to get the most depth that I can on coin sized targets. Does anyone have any suggestions on a setup that I can use in the fields where there are not many targets that maximizes my depth? Thank you for your help.
