Default Neat old token

Got to hunt a new site tonight, and the first signal I got was a this old trade token... It has local history to it, but for the life of me I can't find what it is... It is marked with some CLUB D PERRY NEW PHILA... I would love to find out where it was used and what it was used for. It was about 7 inches deep. I have permission to hunt the two adjoining properties also... the one is for sale and the lady lost a 3/4 carat diamond pendant (solitare) in the back yard. The have a really good general idea of what area it was lost in... any ideas on what to do to find it... I figured I'd use my dfx on the constant pinpoint by pushing the trigger forward and just look at all shallow signals??? any better ideas out there? All 3 houses have large back yards and were all built ~1900.

i think that the "pendant" is from a 1950s charm braclent. my mom had one just like it.

Really... that's cool.... It has two rivets in the back holding on the little "pearl" type things... i figured it was from a charm bracelet... It held the gold color amazingly... think it might be brass.

That token looks a lot like those we used to make in an arcade machine where one could stamp out anything on them. You can only imagine our 7 th grade humor that went into some of them Steve in so az

I have discovered that they were in fact made for many years... and quite a long time ago in the same manner as you speak of... you could put what you want on them and they were made in the old dime shops... Someone on another forum had found one and did a better job of researching it than me. They can date back well into the last quarter of the 1800's.
