My detecting buddy came around last night to have a chat my son showed him what he found yesterday the broach i thought was roman is anglo-saxon my son was very happy taking it to school next week and now wants his own detector ... more money

Congrats to your son for that Anglo Saxon find. And I know you're not really complaining, cause I can hear the pride in your 'voice' as you type. : ) The money you spend will be nothing compaired to the memories you'll make with your son. Good luck to you both on future hunts.
