Default How many coins in one hole

I just found 12 coins in one hole. 10 pennies and 2 dimes. Nothing old but still what a trip to pull coin after coin after coin out of the same hole! I know I,m going to get my ass handed to me on this, but I,d like to know. Who,s got this beat?

Pocket spills are fun! The older the better of course. I have dug one spot for 15 minutes or more many times but don't remember any numbers. I do remember digging with a buddy once who found $4 in clad quarters in one spill. Of course one silver quarter tops that but pocket spills are better than pulltab spills! Congrats on the dig.

I cant remember if it was this forum....I remember a guy said he was detecting parking lot islands at a mcdonalds..I think.....and he was saying from one island he dug an insane amount of coins...If I remember right...hundreds....people were saying it was probably from dirt hauled in or a slipped coin bag...who knows......but as far as your question....I think I found 2 maybe 3....either way you got me beat..

Yesterday I pulled 3 nickels (all 1984) 4 dimes and 7 pennies from one hole. Initially rang up as a penny and never waivered off that. Several were stuck together.
The cool part of this is that I was hunting a far end of the park that gets little activity from the public and appearently detectors too. Nearly all of the coins I found were from the 80's.

The most coins from the same hole recently were 43 Memorial Cents and one Dime. I was using my CZ-6 at the time.

I found curious pocket spills before making me think they are planted like some conspiracy.

I was at a park and a few minutes into hunting I found a stack of coins in one hole. 5 Pennies on top of a dime.

Two hours later across the park. 5 pennies on top of a dime.

Spooky.

Wednesday, 3 clad pennies in one hole and that happened twice in about 15 minutes. Made me smile! All were from the 70s.

I recently found 4 Mercs and one nickel in one hole. I went back to the same hole a few days later and found out that I had left a Canadian cent in there too. They were all below 10 inches. Rang up on the CTX at 12-39, I am assuming the nickel brought the numbers down.
