Default Another Oldie today

Been having some luck lately with the older coins. Keep working same spot . Its a wonder I have not crossed this Buff as many times as I have been there. Found a 1936 Buffalo nickel today and some wheats. The Buff rang up a 17-12 on the Etrac, but it definitely sounded like a nickel. I hope this streak continues with the older coins. HH Everybody.

17-12 is an odd number for a nickel. I might have to take some disc off my coin pattern. It's basically the stock pattern. Another buff with a date. So many have been found with dates lately. None of mine do. Nice hunt Tim...

Congrats on the Buffalo. Here in California, the Buffalo's I have found ring up as 13-14 where other nickels are 12-13 or 12-12. Weird it went all the way to 17 for you, but like you said you have to listen to the sound. Jason

Very true, I've dug numbers I thought would be a penny that turned out to be a nickel!
