Picked this one up today. All I find lately are darn buttons.

it's a button from an invisibility cloak.

It rang up nice...plus it was only 2-3 inches down. Love my Excall I've found stuff much smaller than that.

The design looks almost like some kind of wax seal, what does the back look like? Very interesting.

Dude, time to stop belittling your buttons because that is not a bad find at all. It's a urn which represents mourning, for whom we do not know, but many like to believe it's George Washington, even through there is no actual connection. The vast majority are oval like that, but bigger, so I'd say yours is probably from a cufflink. I have seen completely round ones before, but they're pretty rare, but because they exist some of the oval ones might have been created as singles and not from cufflinks. But again, the small size makes me think cufflink for yours.
