Default Double Play at the Ball Field

I'm close to makeing a couple more of the goals I set for myself this year and I went out not expecting to find anything but clad today. Went to a local Little League field and my first target, not 3 steps into my hunt I hit a solid 91 on the VDI with the AT Pro. This place isn't that old so I was hoping for a silver ring. Instead I dug a nice 1956 - D Washington Quarter! My first silver quarter since taking the hobby back up! My guess is it must be a fairly recent drop as it was only 2 inches down and I found other clad quarters today in the same area 4 to 5 inches down. It got my blood going though & my hopes up! I didn't find anymore silver coins there but I did dig a nice sterling St. Christopher Baseball Pendant. I've never seen one of these before. So needless to say today was a good day!

Congrats on the Washington and that pendant is very cool. I've never seen one like it either. I like how it's specific to baseball.

I looked them up online and I found a bunch of different variations but none of them are the same as the one I found. Lots of them with batters but none with fielders.
