Default night vision glasses

as most detectors dont have backlights i was wondering if there were any reasonably cheap night vision type glasses that could be used to see target id's etc on control box.nothing too big obviously.
thanks

Night Vision (high tech) isn't reasonably cheap. A cheap or free LED keychain flashlight might be what you need. I can understand not wanting a bright light advertising your nocturnal activities in some areas.

I'd have to agree, a small key light might serve your needs better.
I've seen them at Big Five on sale at the lowest for around a hundred and five bucks. And I wouldn't really call them small, they're about the size of a small camcorder, and the closest focal point is about three to five feet depending on quality.
You might try Craigslist List but I don't recall seeing too many used ones I've seen a lot of broken ones though,
that should tell you something...

I've got the binocular and monocular version of night vision (3rd gen I believe)...

I don't see it doing much good...better off getting something like this:

Are you just looking for something so you can see the display on your detector? If so I would so go to like office depot or books a million and grab a little clip on book light, the one where you can bend the neck whichever way you want.
