Default Overloading

So I went metal detecting today and I notice that my dfx on the screen the overload comes on and stays on does anybody else have this proplem or had this happen to them if so what kind of fix did you find.

Its just telling you there something big under the ground, hitting the pin-point button should clear it out but if what ever is setting it off under your coil is still there it will keep overloading until you get into a different area.. Could be anything from a metal drainage pipe to just a smashed can, I've even had man hole covers hidden under the grass set the overload off..

No you don't understand it's on my screen off and on I know there is nothing in the ground making it do this I just don't understand what could be doing this.

Remove batteries for a few hours to let the machine reset itself. Then try again..try different coils if you have any. If you have coil cover check if there's something metallic between coil and the cover. If the problem persists then I guess it's repair shop time.

I don't have coil cover on it and I did take the batteries out of it. I will take it out tomorrow and try it and a different spot.

Have you tried turning your Preamp Gain down a notch?

Went out today put different brand of batteries in it and I didn't have the over loading problem on my screen so maybe that helped it will see.
