Default Great After Work Hunt - Barber, Sterling, and More

Had a sort of impromptu hunt last night with my buddy Greg (GStout76). We called each other and decided to meet up for a quick couple hour hunt after I got off work and we both ended up finding silver. I pulled my 5th Barber dime from 1906, a nice sterling ring, 3 wheats with the oldest a 1917s, and a few other trinkets. The Barber dime was a tough signal right next to trash at 8-9 inches but I heard a high tone and decided to dig. I only found 39 cents in clad so it was a good clad to oldie ratio.

Real nice hunt. Love seeing barbers shining at the bottom of a hole.

Great job! I rarely pulled stuff like that when I was back home in so. cal. You must be braving some of those older spots in the more dangerous parts of town!! HH

Bob,

If you took us out, you would never get to see any silver coins! j/k, j/k!

You will get one soon.

The little league pin is from the early 90's. I had one then and still do!

Thanks John! There are a lot of oldies here in So Cal but it takes research and sometimes going to the dangerous parts of town. That is why we hunt in pairs.
