Default May Diggings

Had a good month of MD'ing.

Found 505 coins with an approx face value of $35.00.
Best coin was a 1943-P silver war nickel.

The badge is from the De Soto plant in Detroit Michigan

All rings are junk.

Not shown is a 10K W&Y gold diamond tennis bracelet (70 diamonds) that
I have at a local jeweler getting it appraised.

Thanks for looking

Excellent haul. Can't wait to see the bracelet and it's appraisal.

Five hundred coins is great, but I wonder if you're searching mostly modern areas?

Do some library research, find where the kids in your town played a hundred years ago, find where the turn-of-the-century carnivals and picnics were, and enhance your chances of finding much older coins.
