KT has a small surprize today at his branch bank. UPDATE Final Hunt Results

Actually two surprizes this week! First, late Monday KT called to order his halves and was told the order was already sent in because of the holiday on the 4th, but the teller was quick to inform KT that the bank manager, despite not hearing from His Royal Highness in time, had ordered Him some boxes anyway but the teller could not remember the number of boxes...KT was proud to hear that some got ordered!

Today KT made his run by the bank to pick up the unknown number of boxes and was told, we forgot to call you but due to the 4th the boxes will be delivered tomorrow...Loomis is running a day behind on all deliveries....but the teller said please speak to the bank manager, and he informed His Highness that he had ordered 3 boxes...and KT thanked him and said, I will be back tomorrow then.....but when KT got to the truck, He realized He had a bag with $60 worth of quarters that had been searched, so He took them in and fed them to their machine! HA HA Deposited the slip in KT's Royal Checking account...

Also, while there, due to KT's heavier than normal number of trips to the clinic next week...Monday for testing, Wednesday and Thursday for Chemo, KT had decided to skip ordering any boxes that week and come back the following week strong with an order...Bank teller wrote a note to herself...No coins for the King for week of the 9th....So KT will start His CRH hunt tomorrow night with the 3 boxes...Will report back in this thread when He has pics of the finds and a total!

KT went by this afternoon to pick up the 3 boxes He was expecting, and surprize again! 6 boxes were delivered! Well, turns out the bank manager phoned in the order and it got interpreted by the person on the other end of the line...not as 3 boxes but $3000 in halves!

Luckily KT had $2500 on His Royal Personage, so He got 5 of them and left the last one for Monday or Tuesday of next week! Looks like KT will be busier than He thought this weekend!

KT hunted 6 boxes, a 3 box fluke from the bank!

But no regrets as the hunt came out pretty well, even tho 3 of the boxes were silver skunks!

Box 3 - silver skunk, 1 NIFCs

Those are some nice coin finds there! How long did it take you to sort through that many boxes? Didn't know you were sick King. Hope everything works out for you and you are doing better soon. You are my tot-lot inspiration. I went out today to a lot that had skunked me last winter and found a bunch of coins.

Thanks for the nice comments hillbillydigger! Yep, by drs orders KT can't swing right now until the chemo treatments are over for a month or more. KT loves nothing more than to go hunt His favorite totlots, and is just waiting until this winter when He can go clean out several of them! Totlots are usually such a great place to learn the coin settings on your MD!

and the "slot machine" at my local bank has given KT $7.05 overage! Got another $1000 left to dump and may wait until Thursday to give the slot machine a chance to refill! HA HA HA

Made my Thursday dump of the last $1000 from this hunt and scored another $2.65 overage! That brings it to $9.70 overage for the hunt!

Hillbillydigger, KT usually runs through 3 boxes on Thursday evening, his pick up day and leaves the last 2 boxes til Friday evening. Total time with ripping rolls and hunting is about 4 to 4.5 hours. But this hunt was different being 6 boxes...took and extra hour as boxes 3, 4, and 5 were skunks and KT got a bit discouraged so did not get to the last box until Saturday, figuring, wrongly so, that it would a skunk too! At least finished the hunt on a positive note with a 40%er!
