Very interesting story and so many wonderful finds! I especially like the crosses. In my opinion the gold from Ukraine and Russia has a much richer, orange color to it.
How did the village of Lukerjevka disappear? Was it abandoned or destroyed?
Nick

Hi Nick.
In gold that made here add copper maybe that's why the color is richer. Some tsar's copper coins is red and shine like a modern gold
That village was far from big cities. Yough always try to reach to civilisation.......and there was a river nearly - now it's absolutly dry. Time changes.....Myabe it is a reason why people leave that place

Thumbs up Awesome Finds!

Great to see your research is paying off in locating those old villages. My ex-wife's Grandpa has a few photos of a place outside his village that he showed me (as well as a map). We can go check it out when I'm back there in September. Pretty interesting photos he showed me
