Dang piece of crapola gold junk. How do you tell if they are solid gold? Take a hack saw to it! I did get one of the best Hot Wheels cars I have found. Rocket car! I think the motor is real gold too! heheee!!! Thanks for looking. Another lost 2 minutes you will never get back........

UPDATE: I filed out a bit and my 10K acid did nothing after leaving it for 5 minutes. Another test of 14K acid smoked it and made the sample vanish. SO, it is solid 10K!!! I am surprised and happy. Another one for the little melt pile. Two day total for Tuesday and Wednesday is 7.4 grams 10K. Lovin it!

Have an acid test done. If it fails 10,14 or 18 they could he 9k. I wouldn't toss them though but send it in with the rest of the scrap and let the refinery sort it out. That was the advice given to me Sunday by a couple that makes dental work.

HI Mike! I just weighed them and they are 5.1 grams. Guess they could be gold but most I see online are plated brass. I need a small file to get into it and test. I am not counting on it being gold though.
