Default Croatal bell?

I don't really know the difference between a croatal bell and a sleigh bell, so any help would be appreciated.
I found this tonight with a buffalo, war nickel and 3 wheaties, so I guess I would put it at about 1940?

I believe a crotal bell is a type of sleigh bell. Can't see how the top piece is attached on yours in the pic, that can help with the date. Looks like its in really good shape. The link above has good info. I was able to narrow mine down based on makers mark on the bottom.
Nice find.

Nice find Matt, looks like an older one, definitely older than the 1930-40's I would think.

Very helpful, now I have to clean it up a bit more to look for a Maker's mark.
