I love the wireless headphones but just don't like the module on my belt. My belt already has a GPP and a digging tool so there is not much room for it on my left side and anything on my right gets in the way of my swing.
So I used a few wire ties and attached the module to headphones. I am a utilitarian so looks don't matter much (it's no prettier on either). I offset the module to the right side to balance the cord on the left as best I could. I think it could go even further to the right a bit. 'Seems to work well and is comfortable but I will test it for real this evening when it gets cooler. |

I have a big melon but they could be tighter. I used them this morning and they did OK. Just wish they had made them all in one like XP Deus. I but they will at some point.

I don't know about that setup...it must look pretty funny wearing them. The koss headphones are so big already, they make you look like princess Laya. :-)

or see if you can find a set of auvio's (33-283) then no module is needed and you'd be truely wireless

Hopefully that works well for you, props for thinking out of the box. Although if anyone is hunting in an area with low hanging limbs, this may become a problem getting snagged...I know when a branch grabs my headphones it really sets me off LOL.

I'm sure there's a way to gut the wireless module and shrink it because it houses an external speaker. This winter I may buy another wireless module and take out the wireless transmitter and charging plug and move them into an ear cup on a set of headphones. Then you'd have no cord at all and it wouldn't look like you have a antenna on your head __________________ |

I'm not sure you guys realize that no one looks normal wielding a metal detector and all that accompanies it (to the general public at least). One extra curly cord and a receiver box isn't going to make much difference. Plus I am a big nerdy buffoon in general anyway.

it also houses a charger for the li-on battery ,,, so they could make it smaller,,,,, and if your REALLY worried about what people are saying about the way you look,,,,, well like said above,,,, it's too late my geeky friend,,,, were buffoons laughing all the way to the bank !!!!
