Thumbs up Ace 250 or F2?

I'm looking into getting a better setup then the Bounty Hunter IV I'm currently swinging and possibly getting my fiancee into the hobby with the Bounty Hunter. What's your opinion between the Ace250 and F2? They both look like a decent upgrade and affordable seeing that I'm going to also be ordering a pro pointer. I'm open for other ideas but can't afford the AT pro right now.

F2 all day long. Faster recovery time so you'll miss less targets in bad/trashy grounds.

We offer a couple F2 packages on our website: http://www.hollandsbrook.com/fisher-...ors/fisher-f2/

Send me a PM or call with any questions!
Marc

The F2 and F4 is making me rich. OK a little stretch.I gave my ace 250 away to my nephew. I'm not crazy about him. You will not find a better MD in the class of detectors.Look at my totals in my sig.

Will the F2 find older silver coins, the kind that have sunk 8" underground?

Read all of this thread: http://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=53930
Search all of Digger27's F2 threads. Great primer and tips on how to metal detect successfully as a newbie, from the start.
(haven't seen anything like these for the 250)

Search for F2 vs 250 comparisions, lots of points of view on both detectors strengths and weaknesses.

Google utube for vids on both machines to see how they sound and some practical use examples. Some really hate the "tone" on the 250.

After look'n at both machines throughly, choose which one suits your plans and hopes best.

If it comes down to best deal, it's hard to beat the 2 or 3 coil packages on the F2.
You dont see many of these come up for sale, even thought there are lots of them out there. (sez something)

gone hunt'n with my ............f2

Thumbs up

I will let my YTD numbers speak for themselves.
The F2 is a Coin Beast. And yes, it will hit 8" for deeper coins. My advise is to get the 10" coil. Made a big difference for me. Good luck!

Yep. Especially with the 10" coil.

Thanks for all the replies. I have been reading more into the machines and taken everyones thoughts into account. I came up with the F2 and propointer. It seems like the better machine for my area and I like the features offered.
