Default 1883 Scovill Button: Peoples Line Steamers

Scored this in a farm field this morning near the Hudson River. Thought is was a pretty neat find. "Peoples Line Steamers," on the front, "Scovill MFG. Waterbury" on back.

That company "Scovill" was around for many years. I know quite a few people that worked there till it closed down. A good part of the building still stands in Waterbury. It's a big long long building. One of the longest in the U.S. I've been told. Scovill operated during Waterbury's glory days when it was called the brass city. Ahhh...the good old days.
