Default First SLQ ever found Silver # 27, hunting in an old mining community.

Well, sorry I haven't posted in a while my kids are down from Kentucky, and been spending time with them, but finally got out today at a home in an old mining community. I found a no date SLQ (silver #27 for the year) My first SQL that I have ever found, a good luck token and a few other things. I started out finding some clad. There were no deep coins until I got a signal at 4.5 inches and was disappointed to find a memorial. I finished the front yard of this early 1900's home and nothing but clad. I found a clothes line in the side yard and found my first wheat. So I decided to hunt the whole side yard. After several trash items, I hit penny signal I cut the plus and a friend of mine was using my pro pointer to extract the object (he was using my back up machine but it died on me). While he was digging the object I hit a good signal at about 4.5 inches that registered a strong quarter on my XLT. I dug it and out pops the SLQ WoW my first. The signal my friend was digging ended up being my 2nd wheat. Click on the video below it will be about 30 minutes before it finishes so be patient. Feel free to also check out the pics

The FOB is a Masury Paint keychain FOB. Masury was aquired by Valspar Paint in 1979. The Fob was also made from 1951 until it was acquired by Valspar in 1979. I believe that mine must have been made sometime in the '50's just a guess. I say that because of the pitting that is present on the FOB. Maybe the '60's. Check out the pitting around the rim. Plus the FOB was found at about 6" deep.
