Question Most crowded beach in presque isle, Erie?

I'm going to presque isle tomorrow with my metal detector, does anyone know what beach is usually the most populated and where to look?

The one that has the most people on it.

Beach 7 is often the most crowded. With weather and a weekend... good luck just getting around the place.

Cool. Find anything else? I'm from Jamestown, but have many friends in Erie. I go to Presque Isle often.. but have never hunted there. Those beaches can get crazy crowded, and after the festivals they have there, I imagine it would be prime picking.

Just a rusty snapple cap, piece of a pulltab, foil, can. Not alot of junk surprisingly. I found about a dollar in a pocket spill and I found a dime. I found the cannonball fragment where the water stops rolling in. HH and good luck!

My apologies. I went to the beach today.. Beach 6 is the busiest one. I would suggest an early morning hunt when you go. Otherwise way to many folks. I was there today. Didn't bring the hunting stick Was there at peak time, no room to roam around

They park service grooms some of the beaches there. They have a sweeper they use to get all the junk off the beach. That also takes the good stuff if it's not too deep. I've been there and not found much after the beach is swept. I suppose if you got there early you could beat the sweepers. at times there are a lot of people hunting there. Try beach 6 or beach 11. Those are the popular beaches.
