Default Using earbuds with the BH4

Hey guys, is this what I need to use my regular ear buds with my BH? Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but I'm just not to tech savoy. Thanks.

DO NOT buy that adapter!
I did - it is a piece of !!!! - the female end doesn't even plug in straight.
If it wasn't so cheap and a hassle I would have sent it back.
I'm not going to plug something of such low quality into my detector.
My luck it would fall apart inside my detector.

I haven't bought this one yet, but it is sony so it has to be of better quailty.

Something like that, or head to a local radio shack or any music store - it's a very common adaptor.

You can go to your local Radio Shack and they have an adapter for about $3-$4 that will work perfectly. I was going to get one for my earbuds but ended up getting a $30 pair of full headphones with the adapter in the package.

Thanks for the help guys. I bought a different brand off of amazon for $1.14 including tax and shipping. It is metal but we'll see. If they don't work out I'll get over to a radio shack. I have regular over the ear headphones, but with the summer hereI want to go lightweight.

Most of the ear buds I've seen the cord is too short.

I bought a radioshack stereo adapter for $5. Has worked great with my RCA earbuds which have a longer cord than my ipod earbuds (too short in my opinion). FWIW.
