Default June 2&3...Nice!

Saturday Kansas Dave, Gsmith and I met at the site of an old school on the west side of town. Not much to show for it but this 1890 Indian Head Cent. We decided to head to out standby location...Linwood Park. Kansas Dave found a worn 1907 Barber Dime there and I found a Sterling Ring...odd thing about the ring is that it is an adjustable ring and has a patent number in it.
Sunday the 3rd we met back at Linwood and I was hunting the corner where I first started there. the ground is wet now so I thought I might get some signals I missed on previous trips. Well between the moist ground and a different angle of approach I found this 1892 Barber Quarter. It was near some junk too.

I just got a call from Kansas Dave. He found another 1907 Barber dime.

I took the liberty of removing a large number of pull tabs and bottle caps for you. I didn't think you'd mind.

Redd, i am pretty amazed by your ring. It is extremely close to the same art/deco silver ring I found at Linwood. Even the same manufacturer. They dated mine between 1920 and 1930. I wrote about it on my blog a couple months ago. Very cool rings!

The patent is for a slotted bezel for the stone. It is dated 1958.

Ine isnt an adjustable band or a slotted bezel. The similarities definitely make me question the infoation I receieved from Uncas though!!

yeah infotation almost had me...I perused your blog and found your ring...wow! almost a dead ringer. The tabs that hold the stone in place are a bit different but that's about it.
