I have had my detector for a while but feel its time to upgrade. I have looked around and found some good deals but need to know if buying from a whole seller compared to buying straight from the daler and getting a "off the product line" machine...would saving a few bucks and getting worthless extras and an older serial model machine hurt me in the long run

Some of your terms are confusing, I never heard of "off the product line", before. All dealers buy at some sort of wholesale price, but they all sell at retail. You have to call the dealers to get the best price, what they advertise and what they actually sell at might be different. Some will discount off retail, or throw in extras that are not worthless. Older serial # machines...if it is the current model, what is the difference when it came off the line? I am an informed consumer, and I always contact several dealers directly and see what their real prices are...especially on a package bundled with other accessories. I would never buy from anybody that throws in worthless extras because that is just a game...and I hate playing games. That is just me. __________________ |

If you buy direct, depending on the brand you'll pay MSRP. If you buy from dealers like me, you'll pay much lower. Send me a PM I'd love to help you out!

Didnt mean to confuse. I live in central texas which has alot of assortment of ground from clay to rock. I am leaning toward the AT pro for its durability and water hunting ability. The only bad things ive heard from the reviews from the pro is that is has a hard time disc trash from good metal after a few inches. my main concern is that this will be a one time shop.
