Default Silver #20, first gold of the year and my first Buffalo ever!

I am loving my switch to Minelab, it has been good to me this year. Started off yesterday with a yummy Braums breakfast with Pescadore, then we headed to the local park to meet with Martin_V3i. REM was supposed to meet us but had other plans come up, sorry buddy. We hit the park in the usual fashion, swing 'em low, and swing 'em slow. Wheats seemed to be popping out everywhere, which is fine with me. I had seen Pescadore, who was using my trusty AT Pro, hitting an area that had been graded down about a foot or so, so I walked to the other side of the park where they had just tore down the old snack bar. I didn't have any luck over there so came back to the graded area and a nice, sweet sound entered my ear canals. The tone was perfect, and the 03 28 on the screen confirmed my suspicions, it had to be a dime, and possibly silver. Sure enough about 5 inches down was a 51 s Rosie. I looked over my shoulder at Pescadore and said "Thanks for leaving me this one". That got his goat. We stuck around there for a while then went for lunch. We hit the Y afterwards, which was all clad for me. It was getting hot, and I was wore out so I left my amigos and went home for some cool refreshing beverages.
Left the house today and headed to an old church I have had good luck at for a bit, this place has produced some great old silvers, and I had my hopes. I unloaded the detector, noise cancelled it, and took 2 swings and got a great steady tone. Numbers were jumping but something about that tone was perfect, even though it wasn't high pitch. From 5 inches down out pops my first gold of the year! WOOHOO! 18k and about 2 grams, works for me. I hunted for a little while longer and pulled a worn, red buffalo, then got a call and had to depart. I love this hobby, and thank you Pescadore and Martin for a great day yesterday.
