Default Hoping to get an answer

This is the property in question:

http://bangordailynews.com/2012/05/1...to-be-leveled/

So far looking up this person online, I found she does have a facebook page started, but doesn't really use it. But I did message her (Madeline Philbrick) to see if I can get permission to hunt there. I will try other ways to contact her. Supposidly my sister-in-law vaguely knows her. But I will keep trying and will update everybody on what is going on.

I got to thank bucksport for the heads up, and yes you will get an invite too to hunt if permission is granted.

I know I will probably pay from the ethic committee, I would just go for it.

It would be nice to hit it before demo happens, but as long as they don't do any ground work after would work too. Keep me posted Mike.

Jim, I thought that too. If I did decide to do that I would have to be quick about it due to them leveling the buildings within a week.

Bucksport, I will keep everyone informed. I am thinking there will be some ground disturbances if they decide to remove the failing septic systems.

if they are leveling due to liability concerns like the article says, I wouldn't hold my breath about getting permission. You never know though. Good luck.

Good luck. What got me was the fire department wanting to burn them and the EPA stopping them until they could be tested.

If I don't hear anything by sunday, I'll go that day and if need be, play dumb. Tell PD I thought it was city property. Luckily Rockland police are pretty cool.

You can look Madeline Philbrick up on Zabasearch, it says she is 91, and gives a phone # for her. If you are in her area, I would just stop and see her.

I did a visual recon mission of the site. Only 3 houses on the street still occupied. In the picture you see a mailbox. I know the guy who lives there, at the end of the street is another house, nice condition and likely not going to be demolished. (at the end of the road, can't be seen in pic) In the pic, the dark house, 2nd one on right side of the street is still occupied too. The person living there was outside, and he just made me feel uncomfortable. Not cause of any trespassing issues, but just got a bad vibe. I am thinking his place will be spared unless he is planning to move out soon. All the other houses look long abandoned. lots of tall grass everywhere. I am still thinking of going there sunday. I will update everyone.
