Default Newbie needs help

I am new to this hobby but I have been reading a lot and have decided on a Garrett ace 350 and Garrett pro pointer. Any thoughts or recommendations for about the same money? I am located in Northern Ky and do not plan on using at the beach. The soil here is mostly clay. Mostly just looking for coins and relics as there are 3 old homesteads on our property. Thanks for any help.

Default Welcome from White Plains, NY!

Also get a Lesche brand hand digger, kneepads, and a good finds bag. Get the machine and start swinging!

And sun block, bug spray, tough gloves, good boots, wide brimmed hat and dont forget water, towel for the soil and maybe asmall wide mouthed waterbottle with coapy water in to put your coin find/small find in and shake the soil off it rather then rub it off....stop scratches....you might if you like to have shiney coils but dont care about disturbing the value consider a coil tumbler and if your digging or finding deeper then 9" finds of value look at a shovel, lesche, predator, etc
