Default Tesoro Vaquero

I finally broke down today and ordered my much-anticipated Vaquero! I love my Compadre and the Vaquero will be the other half of the arsenal I need for the majority of hunting circumstances.

I haven't been hunting much yet this year as I have been working buku hours. When I do get out I have actually been getting more into cellar holes and old home sites which is quite a lot of fun; one feels like a history detective when the wanderings are in a wooded area that was once settled many decades ago. If the trees could only tell their stories...

Anyhow when I get the new machine I will take it for a spin and let everyone know how it drives.

HH.

My buddy hunts with a vaquero. He digs some deep relics. It's surprised me.

It will go 12" on coins - maybe more on big coppers. My hunting buddy got one this season and I have just been blown away at the depth he gets with it.... Hope it serves you well! I want one myself!

A deadly combination, for sure.
Congratz!

I have heard similar stories regarding the depth of the Vaquero. The depth and larger coil compared to my Compadre will definitely be a good thing and come in handy when the situation warrants.

So does the F2 ever get turned on?

Congrats on the Vaquero, cougar, you'll love it

The Vaq can find quite deep things, the only problem is not getting irritated after spending 10 min or more digging a pulltab from 10" in hard ground! Just kidding.

I've been using a Vaq. for almost a year, and I'll be hunting in Germany for the next month, so hopefully I'll have some good deep finds with the good old Tesoro to show you all.

I will be certain to give a thorough impression. If the Vaq behaves similar to the Compadre but is more deep seeking I will be quite pleased.

Actually, I have those two plus the Compadre.
Depending on the site, they all get their share of hunting time.
I also like switching to a screen from time to time...shakes things up a bit in my little world.
I have found some great things with all of them.
Each one has found me a large men's 10k class ring in the last 10 months.
Just learn any detector you swing well and they will all become..."lucky".

NCHunter23 just picked up a pair of these Tesoros, too.
I will tell you what I told him.
Please just stay in you neck of the woods with them.
Not necessary to come here to Kansas to look for anything because I already found it all...capiche?
