Default Musket ball?

Could this be a musket ball? I found it at the beach. It's seamless, no holes or cuts. Still, I was just thinking it was some sort of fishing weight until I saw someone's post of their musket balls.

Is it lead? Magnetic? Modern round balls can be darn near perfect spheres and have no sprues, but that almost looks like a ball bearing.

Looks like a ball bearing to me. Probably steel. Way too smooth for antiquity.

It is magnetic, Geez, thanks for the suggestion...that dark gray appearance had me assuming it was lead.

At one time I had a steel marble. Maybe that's what it is.

Musket balls usually look more like these.

Three on the right are somewhat flattened from hitting something.
