Default Possible WW2 relic?

Hey guys Just curious on what this find could possibly be. The area I went detecting in was supposedly used for WW II maneuvers because the terrain resembled much of terrain of Germany. The area was also home to the civil war

does anyone have a clue what this could possibly be?
