Default What coil is this? Etrac coil ID help

Anyone have any idea what coil this is in the video? I don't think it's the Sunray X-5, but if you watch it finds a coin quite deep.

I use the sunray x8 coil. Chose it over the 8x6 sef because kellyco was always 'waiting for new stock'. The X8 is great.

I do want a smaller coil eventually. Was strongly considering Sunray X-5 but for some reason saw that video and was compelled to inquire about that coil. Anyone know how it stacks up compared to an X5?

I have that 6" Excelerator DD. It's a good coil! If you're going to be working known areas of heavy trash it really does give you really good separation of targets so you can cherry pick the ones you're interested in.

Post 8x6

Ya i did have to wait for the 8x6,but i can tell you i love that coil, great seperation, depth, and Id,i have had sunray coil's in the past, and still have one for my cz70pro,like i said, both the 6dd excelerator, and 8x6 sef are worth the money,i like the 6dd for side walk strip's and the 8x6 sef for trashy school yard's were the 11dd pro coil is to much, journey i am looking for another coil too,im thinking of the 12x15 sef, dont want the 10x12 the performance is to close to the pro stock 11inch,happy hunting,Earl

6" Excelerator DD actually measures 6" exactly. I measured with a steel ruler.

Good to know! Some of the coils measure differently. I guess rulers aren't standard anymore. LOL

Thanks for measuring, I like getting what I pay for. Minelabs 8" FBS coil I believe measures at like 7.5 or so. Anyway... I digress... thanks again.

The 6 inch is my favorite for my E-trac. I've found a ton of shallow silver with it. One time I got a barber dime at 7 inches with about 6 nails around it. It's a great coil.
