Default Mystery Item (tool?)

Can anyone help to ID this thing?
It appears to be solid brass.
The narrow part is hollow, with a round opening on the small end that is 1/16" in diameter. There are no other markings on it.

The ball chain clasp says:
BEAD CHAIN
BPT. CONN.

Thanks!

Nope. Only the narrow part is hollow. The fatter section is solid (Except for the hole where the chain passes).

I think the BPT CONN stands for "Bridgeport Brass" in Connecticut.
Drop them a mail with a picture of the item.
Maybe they will be able to help You out with this one.

Actually the Bridgeport Bead Chain Company was a totally different manufacturer in Bridgeport. I don't think either of them are still around.

Could be a Molex Connector pin extraction tool.

Here is another type of tool the same size as yours...

These are the type of pins you use this tool on to push out of the male and female connector housing with no damage.

Used in all kinds of quick connect wire situations in several industries.

My guess is a Diesel timing locking pin or a Gage to check some kind of measurement.

Cheers!

I have a takedown tool like it that I use for my AR15. It's close. They make tools for guns out of brass to help prevent scratches. Personaly I just use the tip of one of the bullets as the tool. I don't know why it would be hollow. That has me guessin it's something else.
