Default Todays finds.....????????

Got down to the beach today at peak high tide. Schedule doesn't always agree with the tide chart! The surf was rough i worked the high tide line into the soup before the break. I wanted to work on my scoop technique in the retreating water. I managed a few targets and was pleased with my scoop ability! It was only my third hunt with the Sand Shark ( i will name her soon since this seems to be proper etiquette). Anyway I found no clad , no jewelry and what I suspect to be junk. However I have no clue what this junk is?? Most of the pieces found in multiple low spots as low tide approached. Six pieces of something consisting of the same material. A polished copper? I thought a pendant because of the design and holes? Anyone have any thoughts???

Can you put a coin or something else familiar in the pic to get some perspective on size. It kinda looks like the end caps to a conventional fishing reel (the round things)?

Sorta look like shotgun shell heads, but not sure. That they fit together so well makes me think otherwise. At least you found that really sharp looking piece of metal. It would make one painfully deep splinter.

I was thinking how painful that would be in the foot! I can't believe how easy those small targets are to pick up! I did lose a few small targets today. I need to put some mesh in the bottom of my scoop with a magnet I think. I found those by dumping above the water line and spreading out the sand and pin point with the sandshark.

I don't have a clue but if you get the answer somewhere other than here let us know.

The rectangular pieces sort of have a link belt look to me.

I was in the field artillery...doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with.

I was south of Rehoboth Beach today. I was at Rehoboth Beach Thursday night for low tide and found nothing to speak of. I believe the rectangle pieces have something to do with the round pieces. They seem to be the exact same material?

Default got it

Found the answer on another site. Follow the thread down a little and you will see the same stuff. These beaches have all been replenished. So much for filtering! I guess anything could end up in that sand!
