Default Great Idea!

I was in retail management but suffered nreve damage to my feet and hands so I'm pretty much retired/disabled. I dabble in lampwork glass beads, pendants and jewelry. http://www.hokuseaglass.com

I can walk easier early in the morning but only at a slow pace for about an hour. Detecting is a perfect reason to get out of the house.

I am retired from the military and currently working as an oil analysis tech . Simple 40 hour week with weekends free . tried horticulture an dlandscaping when I first retired but I like to eat and have coins in my pocket so I gave that up and just do that at home and for friends and family.
Primary hobby is homebrewing, Still illegal in alabama so I don't do as much brewing as I would like to but hopefully one day soon!!!

Currently waiting for Homeland Security to release our investors' funding for photovoltaic solar cell research to continue further. While waiting, metal detecting seems a great hobby to indulge while "on vacation".
Second hobby is designing portable 24vdc led lighting/ solar cell modules.

Default golf course

I am assistant superintendent at the golf course in Azle, TX. Been there 12 years. There's a historical area there and I've never had time to detect it. When my day is over, I just want to get away from there!

I've been in the security business since just after high school. Part time during college. Home, church, small and commercial security, video surveillance, access control, nicet license for fire but don't really use it. 16 years now, I graduated at 17. I give free advice to if nyone needs it.

I'm a Production Manager at one of the major uniform suppliers (You can guess it pretty easy if you have horrible service and own/work for a company that has uniforms). Been here 7 years but seems like 70. Can't complain, I work at one of the smaller locations and have pretty solid job security which is good.

Full time farmer, part time preschool teacher. We raise purebred Polled Hereford cattle and sell free range eggs. In the summer I love to ride my horse in parades and do a little showing. Getting ready to take my 2 YO granddaughter to her first shows this summer and hope the bug takes hold and she sticks with it.

I'm an ex english stonemason who emigrated to the states to marry my fiance.

Got myself diabled in a work accident in 2007 and not worked since....spine damaged but am able to go out for a couple of hours a week...not for long and have to be selective about digging but the exercise is good and having diabetes type 2 anything that stops me vegging is good
