Default From 10-07-08 to 1-20-12 !

458.5 hours over a period of 209 days. I found.....

1793 coins, 307 (bottle caps), 707 (pull tabs), 1056 (nails !), 12 (keys), 13 (rings - 1 gold & 1 silver), 10 (charms), 6 1/2 (buckles), 21 (toy cars), 39 (wheat pennies), 13 (buttons), 113 (shot shells), 2 (pendants), 1 (10k bracelet),
$113.79 (clad), 4 (tokens), 4 (earrings), 3 (large coppers),1 (suspender buckle) 1 ( thimble), 13 (knives), and 6 (horseshoes).

The ice on the river is melted again so I'm off to add to the nail count !
Still making about $.24/hour.
Marty
Almost forgot ! 154 pounds of ferrous !!

Default finds

Well, all that matters is that you're enjoying the hobby, finding some keepers and cleaning up the environment. Pretty detailed accounting of your hunts.

Default It's easy....

Since I log every hunt, it usually takes less than hour or so to tally things up. Plus I update about every 2-3 weeks. Saves from having to go back through the entire years log.

Default Well, yeah !

It only takes a couple minutes when I get home. I'm a bit concerned that my nail count is catching up to the coin count. Better hit more beaches and tot lots.
I recovered about a third of my detector setup cost. Only takes one nice ring to put me over the top.
